Three Jamaicans, Danielle Williams, Natoya Goule and Leah Nugent were winners at Saturday’s American Track League meet in Georgia, USA.
Doha 2019 bronze medal winner, Danielle Williams, opened with 13.23 to beat fellow Jamaican Trishauna Hemmings, 13.54 in the women’s 100m h1 Danielle Williams (jam) 13.23; 2 Trishauna Hemmings (jam) 13.54urdles.
In the women’s 800m, Goule ran 2:00.43 to beat Laurie Barton 2:05.72.
Jamaican Record
Nugent, however, was in a record-breaking mood. She ran 39.81 for a new Jamaican record in the 300m hurdles. Nugent’s time is no. 20 on the world’s all-time list.
Zuzana Hejnová of Czech Republic recorded the world’s best-ever time of 38.16 in 2013.
Keturah Orji won the women’s long jump with 6.68m and triple 14.14m (+0.2m/s wind).
