The 2020 local Track and Field Season runs off on Saturday with the Pure Water JC/Danny Williams meet at Jamaica College’s Ashenheim Stadium.
Action will start at 8:30 with the 400m hurdles for high school and club and institution. The 3,000m open for girls/women and 5,000m for boys/men will follow.
The sprint hurdles, all classes, are scheduled to run off at 10:00 am, to be followed by the two-lap events, all classes.
The short sprints, 100m for all classes and clubs and institutions, will follow the 800, while the 1500m and 4x400m relays are the last set of events.
In the field, shot put, discus, long jump, pole vault, and high jump will be the contested events.
