BOSTON, USA – World champion Nia Ali and Olympic champion Brianna McNeal will go head-to-head in the 60m hurdles at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston on January 25.
The Boston meet is the first World Athletics Indoor Tour meeting of 2020.
The series of seven international events with stops in Karlsruhe and Düsseldorf (Germany), Torun (Poland), Glasgow (Great Britain), Liévin (France) and Madrid (Spain) awards overall tour winners $20,000 and a guaranteed spot at the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China (March 13-15).
World indoor silver medallist Christina Clemons and Norwegian record-holder Isabelle Pedersen will be hoping to beat the two global champions.
World 800m champion Donavan Brazier will be making his fourth consecutive appearance at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix. His 2019 indoor season was also a huge success, setting a world indoor best for 600m (1:13.77), the event he will contest in Boston.
The men’s mile will feature a compelling match-up between Olympic medallists Nick Willis and Clayton Murphy.
