Elain Thompson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce were both named in Jamaica’s Pan Am Games team.
Thompson, the reigning Olympic Games sprint double champion, and Fraser-Pryce, who won back to back Olympic 100m titles in 2008 and 2012, will lead Jamaica’s sprint attack.
Fedrick Dacres, who is the world discus leader with 70.78m, heads the men’s team of 27 athletes.
The Pan Am Games will be held in Lima, Peru from August 06 – 11, 2019.
