Sharika, who was the US Collegiate champion in 2014 with 12.52w 2.8mps, has taken a liking to the region in 2017 winning all her races at the locations, Grenada, St. Martin, Guadeloupe where she did her 12.58SB and the JIIM on Jamaica soil on May 20.
Along with home girl, Danielle Williams and Sally Pearson, she should hold the main interest at the JN/Racers GP. Her only appearance at the global level was at the 2015 World Championships where she finished at the back of the field, 13.06 after an early mishap.
