Their only loss came in the men's 4x100m, as Jamaica topped the race in 38.70 (Jermaine Hamilton, Julian Forte, Rasheed Dwyer and Oshane Bailey). US Red with Mike Rodgers, Justin Gatlin, Tyson Gay and Isiah Young were disqualified after crossing the line in 39.74.
USA led up to the final exchange, but it took a very long time for Gay to pass to Young and when it happened, was outside the zone.
US Blue finished second in 39.02 (Sean McLean, Wallace Spearmon, Calesio Newman and Remontay McClain).
In the 4x200m, Gatlin’s USA team bounced back to win in 1:20.94. He had with him Young, Spearmon and Rodgers as they finished ahead of St. Kitts (Antoine Adams, Brijesh Lawrence, Lestrod Roland and Jason Rogers), 1:23.31.
Jamaica did not finish as Jason Livermore, on lead off, pulled up.
US teams dominated in the 4x400m with Blue (Chris Giesting, Brycen Spratling, Je’Von Hutchison and James Harris) topping the field in 3:02.32 over USA Red (Pat Feeney, Jeremy Wariner 44.5 best split, Gil Roberts and Mike Berry) 3:03.73 and Brazil 3:03.75.
US teams won all three women races, the 4x100m Red team (Tianna Bartoletta, Candyce McGrone, Kimberlyn Duncan and Carmelita Jeter) 42.61 over Jamaica (Gayon Evans, Elaine Thompson, Kerron Stewart and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce) 42.90 and Trinidad (Kelly-Ann Baptiste, Michelle Lee Ahye, Reyare Thomas and Khalifa St. Fort) 43.43.
BVI (Ashley Kelly, Tahesia Harrigan-Scott, Chantel Malone and Karene King) ended 6th in 44.97 and St. Kitts and Nevis 8th in 45.75 (Marecia Pemberton, Tameka Williams, Meritzer Williams, Shenel Crooke).
The 4x200m was also close as US got 1:31.17 (McGrone, Kaylin Whitney, Duncan and Cambria Jones) over Jamaica 1:31.34 (Anneisha McLaughlin-Wilby, Stewart, Audra Segree, Anastasia Le-Roy).
In the 4x400m, USA (Natasha Hastings, Dee Dee Trotter, Phyllis Francis and Sanya Richards-Ross 52.63 split) won in 3:26.83.
Jamaica (Christine Day, Tiffany James, Verone Chambers and Stephenie-Ann McPherson, best split 51.00) was second in 3:29.00 while Nigeria 3:32.37 finished 3rd.
