Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games champion Hansle Parchment made light work of the men’s 110m hurdles on his way to winning his second national title at the Jamaica trials on Sunday (26 June).

Parchment pegged back the fast-starting Omar McLeod and took control from midway. He crossed the line in 13.14 seconds ahead of Rasheed Broadbell, 13.20 and Orlando Bennett, 13.28.

In the women’s 100m hurdles, Britany Anderson proved she is the top Jamaican hurdler this year with another amazing display.
Anderson, who was left in the blocks, held her nerves to dominate the last third of the race to win in 12.52.

Olympic Games bronze medallist, Megan Tapper, who was very quick out, finished second in 12.60, her best time this season.

Beijing 2015 world champion Danielle Williams finished third in 12.66.
