The NCAA West Regionals, which had its male section postponed on Friday (28 May) due to poor weather, finished on Saturday (29 May) in College Station, Texas.

Jamaican Phillip Lemonious, representing Arkansas, will go to National with the second-fastest 110m hurdles time. He won his heat in a personal best 13.44, a bit slower than heat two winner Jaylan Mcconico of Iowa, 13.41.
Micah Williams of Oregon set a new facility record of 10.00secs flat in the men’s 100m. He, along with Shaun Maswanganyi of Houston, 10.04, are the leaders going to Eugene.
Maswanganyi had the fastest 200m time of 20.19. Micaiah Harris of Texas Longhorn is next best with 20.20.
Bryce Deadmon of Texas A&M recorded the day’s only sub-45 seconds with 44.57. Jamaican and UTEP sprinter Sean Bailey is third-best from the west with 45.31.
Jamaican Leonardo Ledgister produced his best-ever run of 48.79 to secure his spot on Texas A&M’s team.
Isaiah Levingston of Oklahoma led the way with his best-ever mark of 48.58, a collegiate lead and facility record.
Lamara Distin of Texas A&M is also in with a 1.82m clearance. Distin’s Texas A&M teammate Tyra Gittens of Trinidad and Tobago also cleared the same high to advance.
