Jamaicans Danielle Williams, Lafranz Campbell and Jeanine Williams were winners at Saturday’s (8 Jan) Clemson Orange and Purple meet in South Carolina, USA.
Danielle Williams, the Beijing 2015 100m hurdles champion, won the women’s 300m event in 38.57 seconds. She beat Clemson’s pair of Kenya Thompson, 39.70 and Courtney Williams, 39.92.

Jeanine Williams’ victory came in the women’s 60m hurdles. She ran 8.24secs to beat Taylor Grimes of Georgia Tech, 8.50.
Lafranz Campbell, the third Jamaican winner representing Clemson, was the men’s 60m hurdles winner. He ran 7.85 to beat Dashinelle Dyer, Jamaica and Clemson, 8.01.
Jevon Williams of Clemson ran 33.42 to beat his teammate Dashinelle Dyer, 34.70 in the men’s event.
Sheleah Harris of Georgia Tech, 7.60secs beat Areya Campbell of Clemson, 7.65 in the women’s 60m dash.
Guinove Joanus of Clemson ran 6.75 to beat South Carolina’s Anthony Greenhow, 6.82 in the men’s 60m event.
The women’s 200m event went to Angel Frank of South Carolina in 24.37 ahead of Areya Campbell of Clemson, 24.79.
Anthony Greenhow of South Carolina ran 21.18 in the men’s 200m.
Jackson Marseille of South Carolina cleared 2.08m in the men’s high jump. Kenya Livingston of Clemson got over 1.74 metres in the women’s event.
Bria Matthews, unattached, got out to 6.30 metres in the women’s long jump.
