Dockery Wins, Williams Joins Her Under 11 Seconds at Lone Star Grand Prix

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, June 6, 2026 — Sabrina Dockery and Jodean Williams both broke the 11-second barrier for the first time in their careers, leading a strong Jamaican showing at the USATF Lone Star Grand Prix on Saturday.

Dockery produced the performance of her life to win the women’s 100 meters in a personal-best 10.92 seconds, while Williams continued her breakthrough season with 10.97 for third place, becoming the second Jamaican woman in the race to dip below 11 seconds for the first time.

Demisha Roswell secured one of the nation’s biggest victories of the day when she won the women’s 100m hurdles in 12.53 seconds, defeating fellow Jamaican Ackera Nugent (12.61) and a quality international field.

In the men’s 100m, Oblique Seville clocked 9.91 seconds to finish third in a world-class field behind Trayvon Bromell (9.85) and Andre De Grasse (9.91). Fellow Jamaican Kadrian Goldson finished ninth in 10.06.

Jamaica’s success extended well beyond the sprint straightaway at USATF Lone Star Grand Prix.

Navasky Anderson also delivered a victory, taking the men’s 800m in 1:46.33, while Romaine Beckford cleared 2.25m to win the men’s high jump.

Stacey Ann Williams added another podium finish with second place in the women’s 400m in 49.80, while Kelly-Ann Beckford was runner-up in the women’s 800m behind Saint Vincent and the Grenadines star Shafiqua Maloney, who won in 1:57.34.

Elsewhere, Antonio Watson finished fifth in the men’s 400m, Ashanti Moore was sixth in the women’s 200m, and Andrenette Knight and Shiann Salmon placed fifth and seventh, respectively, in the women’s 400m hurdles.
