The men’s 100 meters will see a thrilling contest as Trayvon Bromell faces challenges from Britons Eugene Amo-Dadzie and Jeremiah Azu, adding an international flavor to the event.
Italian stars will also be prominent, with Leonardo Fabbri in the shot put and Mattia Furlani in the long jump expected to draw local support. However, Fabbri’s compatriot Zane Weir will be absent due to a sprained right ankle sustained in training, ruling him out of subsequent meetings in Lucca on Sunday, May 19, and Asti on Thursday, May 23.
The women’s 400 meters will feature Briton Keely Hodgkinson, further raising the competition level at the WACT Challenger event. With such a stellar lineup, the Savona International Meeting is set to deliver high-quality performances and memorable moments.
