As the Penn Relays approach the much-anticipated High School Girls’ 4×400 Championship Final on Friday (26 April), the lineup is set with formidable teams that have showcased their strength in the heats. The qualifiers have posted impressive times, setting the stage for a nail-biting showdown.

Leading the pack and occupying prime lanes are Edwin Allen High School and Hydel High School from Jamaica, both posting the fastest qualifying times of 3:41.33 and 3:41.47 respectively. These teams, featuring Natasha Fox, Kevongaye Fowler, Shanique Beckford, Tonyan Beckford for Edwin Allen, and Taiefa Gowe, Abigail Campbell, Alliah Baker, Nastassia Fletcher for Hydel, are the ones to watch and will be the teams to beat in the final.
Hydel is the defending champions and they also won at Champs 2024.
Bullis School from Maryland, with a time of 3:41.60, will also be a strong contender. Their team, comprising Zoe Brooks, Tatum Lynn, Kennedy Brown, and Morgan Rothwell, has shown they can compete at the highest level and will be looking to challenge the Jamaican dominance.
St. Elizabeth Tech from Jamaica, another top qualifier, will also vie for the title, with athletes Shanque Williams, Shavanecia Griffiths, Habiba Harris, and Chennai Jarrett ready to make their mark.
