Jamaicans Megan Tapper and Rushelle Burton were in action at Saturday’s (1 Aug) American Track League meeting in Georgia, USA.
Doha 2019 world finalist Megan Tapper had two runs in the women’s 100m hurdles. She first ran 13.17 for third behind Ofili Cindy, 12.95 and Tiffany Porter 13.09.
In her second outing, Tapper ran 13.09, but this time, sisters Cindy 12.88 and Porter, 12.98 went sub13.
Jamaican 22-year-old sprinter hurdler Burton did not finish.
Burton, however, finished 6th in the women’s 100m dash. She ran 12.04 in the event, won by Murielle Ahoure in 11.36.
American Aleec Harris ran 13.89 in the men’s 110m hurdles.
Katie Nageotte cleared a World-leading height of 4.92m in the pole vault, also a PB and 6th best outdoor all-time performer. She tried at US record 5.01m.
