Blake opens 2017 season with 47.42 at Camperdown Classic

Yohan Blake opened his season over 400m at today’s (11 Feb) Camperdown Classic at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Blake, who won the 2011 world 100m title, finished the event in 9th overall with his 47.42. Kavon Nelson of Akan Track Club was the fastest of the day with 46.54. Zharnel Hughes who won Blake’s heat was second overall in 46.58 while Jaheel Hyde, winner of heat 2, finished third in 46.67.
