LOS ANGELES – Allyson Felix will double at the USA Olympic Trials, according to a Reuters report.
The Olympic 200m champion and world 400m champion will run both the half-lap and lap race in Eugene.
Her coach, Bob Kersee, said “The Olympic Trials schedule is fine and I am working with USA Track & Field on the Olympic schedule.”
He hopes that the IAAF and Rio 2016 organisers will change the athletics schedule so that Felix can also compete in both events in the Brazilian city.
