Tina Clayton and Ackeem Blake claimed the top spots in the 60m finals at the Gibson McCook Relays, which took place on Saturday (25 Feb) at Kingston’s National Stadium.

Kingston’s National Stadium Witnesses Epic 60m Showdown as Clayton and Blake Triumph
In the two-heat time-final, Tina Clayton got off to a quick start and managed to hold off Shashalee Forbes with a time of 7.02 seconds, while Forbes finished just behind with 7.03 seconds. Kerrica Hill took third place with a time of 7.10 seconds.
Heat 1 saw Romona Burchell emerge victorious with a time of 7.04 seconds, followed closely by Tia Clayton with the same time, while Jodean Williams secured third place with a time of 7.16 seconds.
In the men’s 60m final, Ackeem Blake and Oblique Seville both clocked in at 6.42 seconds, but it was Blake who was declared the winner. Zharnel Hughes and Yohan Blake both finished with a time of 6.45 seconds, securing third and fourth place, respectively.
