ALBUQUERQUE, USA – Jamaican sprinting talent Odean Skeen won the NJCAA Championships in fast 6.56 ahead of Chris Lewis 6.61. Former Holmwood standout Chrisann Gordon was a double winner for South Plains.

Gordon led home a South Plains 1-2 in the women’s 600m final – 1:29.19 to Deja Harrison’s 1:34.13.

In the women’s 800m final, Gordon came out on top in 2:15.87 ahead of Kamille Kronemann of Iowa Central 2:17.57 and fellow Jamaican Marleena Eubanks of Central Arizona 2:18.05.

Trinidad´s Jereem Richards won the 400m in 46.70 and also fast 600m 1:16.22 for Jaymes Dennison over Strymar Livingston 1:16:53.

In the women’s 60m, former Edwin Allen student Ranee Rickets of Essex, finished second in 7.39 behind winner Diamond Gause of South Plains 7.35.
