RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil – US World medalist Justin Gatlin won the 4th edition of Mano a Mano special sprint at Quinta da Boa Vista in the northern part of the Olympic city.
He clocked 10.19 ahead of Richard Thompson 10.29 and Brazilians Vitor Hugo 10.42 and Jose Carlos Moreira 10.60.
In the women's 100m, Rosangela Santos achieved 11.23 to beat Carmelita Jeter 11.36.
Kauzia Venancio in 11.64 was third just ahead of another US sprinter Cleo Van Buren 11.65.
