Britany Anderson and Megan Tapper produced a season’s best times to book their Jamaica Trials women’s 100m hurdles final spot, set for Sunday (26 June) at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Anderson ran a very smooth and controlled race, despite being put under early pressure from Danielle Williams. Anderson, however, pulled away to win comfortably in 12.45.
Williams trailed her across the line in 12.59. Shermaine Williams took the third automatic qualifying spot in 12.95.

Earlier in semi-final one, Olympic Games bronze medallist Megan Tapper was quick out of the blocks and was unchallenged to cross the line in 12.60, a season’s best effort.
Demisha Roswell finished second to Tapper in 12.84 and Crystal Morrison third in 12.99.
