Six-time Olympic champion Allyson Felix is still desperate to compete in Tokyo 2021.

It will be the fifth Olympic Games for Felix, who will be chasing her 10th overall medal. She won the 200m in London 2012. She also has three 4x400m and two 4x100m gold medals.

“I am not sure what the future holds, but my goals have not changed. I still hope to experience the feeling of standing on that podium in 2021,” she wrote in Time magazine.

Felix, a 13-time World champion, added: “I hope my journey to try to get back there will inspire you to keep moving forward.”

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games was postponed because of the deadly coronavirus, which has killed over 28,000.

“Stay safe, stay inside, wash your hands, lead with love, check on each other and be kind. We will get through this, together,” Felix advises.
