FAYETTEVILLE, USA – The final day of the Razorback Invitational saw some thrilling races and world-leading performances, with Aleia Hobbs stealing the show with a personal best time of 6.98 in the women’s 60m.

She becomes the 13th female sprinter to dip below the seven-second mark. Chris Bailey also impressed with a world-leading time of 45.09 in the 400m.
Abby Steiner breaks world lead in 400m
In the women’s 400m, Abby Steiner broke the world lead with a time of 50.59, followed closely by Shamier Little, 50.64, and Nicole Yeargin, 51.02 from Britain. Talitha Diggs, 51.34, and Anna Hall, 51.45, both set personal bests in separate races, while the Italian Emanuel Ihemeje set a world lead in the triple jump with a time of 16.99.
The women’s 4x400m was another exciting race, with Arkansas clocking the fastest time of the season with 3:26.40, composed of athletes from different countries.
PJ Austin blazes in 60m dash
PJ Austin improved to 6.58 in the 60m, and Casey Clinger set a personal best of 7:43.96 in the 3000m, ahead of Cole Sprout. Fouad Messaoudi from Morocco won the mile in a personal best time of 3:54.98, and Trey Cunningham clocked 7.60 in the 60m hurdles.
Ackera Nugent from Jamaica won the women’s 60m hurdles in a big personal best time of 7.88, while Tonea Marshall clocked 7.95 in the invitational race.
The men’s 4x400m was won by Florida in a time of 3:04.11, just edging out USC and Baylor, with Arkansas close behind. In the heptathlon, Will Daniels set a personal best score of 6018, followed by Peyton Haack with 6007.
The Razorback Invitational provided a thrilling showcase of athletic talent, with several world-leading performances and personal bests set across a range of events.
