Jamaican athletes Roje Stona, Danniel Thomas-Dodd and Assinie Wilson will be among the stars in action when the Wanda Diamond League heads to Stockholm, Sweden, on Sunday.
Olympic discus champion Stona headlines the Jamaican contingent as he takes on a world-class men’s discus field that includes Kristjan Ceh, Matthew Denny and home favorite Daniel Stahl. Thomas-Dodd will look to challenge some of the world’s best throwers in the women’s shot put, while Wilson faces a tough test against Olympic medalist Alison dos Santos in the men’s 400m hurdles.
The international broadcast begins at 10:04 a.m. Jamaica time, with several field events getting underway before the televised portion of the meet.
