The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) will announce its Doha 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships team on Wednesday (11 Sept).

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson, Omar McLeod, Fedrick Dacres, Danielle Williams and Shaneika Ricketts are expected to lead the team to Qatar.
Akeem Bloomfield, who ran the 200m at Jamaica Trials and failed to make the top three, is the fastest Jamaican this season over 400m with 44.40s. Bloomfield, however, is expected to make the 400m team.
