This announcement follows his remarkable achievements, including a world-leading performance of 19.94 (-1.2) in the 200m at the ASA Athletics Grand Prix (WACT Challenger), in March. Additionally, in February, Letsile Tebogo made headlines by setting a new world best in the 300m with a time of 30.69 at the Simbine Curro Classic Shoot-Out in Pretoria, South Africa.
This performance eclipsed the previous world best of 30.81, held by Wayde van Niekerk since June 28, 2017, further establishing Tebogo as a dominant force in sprinting.
Returning to Nairobi, where he first burst onto the international scene at the World Junior Championships in 2021, Tebogo is eager to continue his ascent in the world of athletics, confirmed by his management.
