KINGSTON, Jamaica: Usain Bolt will run an 800m as part of a promotion for US vehicle retailer Carmax in Kingston on 13 July.

The world’s fastest sprinter, who says he has run around 2:05 in training, will be trying to run two laps faster than a Carmax customer can get an online appraisal offer.

“My personal best is around 2:05, but when I put my spikes on, I reckon I can take five seconds off,” he was quoted by The Guardian.

Bolt, who retired after the London 2017 World Championships, said he is always in training.

“I train every day of the week. I still do a lot of cardio. And I’m on my Peleton too. Now I just need to sharpen up at the track and get my lung capacity up.”

It will be streamed live on Facebook.
