Grenada’s 400m runner Bralon Taplin has had his appeal against his four-year doping suspension rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Taplin was sanctioned for avoiding an in-competition drug test last April. He claimed he hadn’t been properly notified, a claim which CAS described as “implausible.”
“The sole arbitrator found that the evidence given by the athlete that he was never approached, followed or accompanied by anyone from the Grenada NADO to be implausible,” the CAS press release said.
“Considering all of the evidence accepted in this procedure, the sole arbitrator was comfortably satisfied that the athlete was guilty of the offence of evading sample collection and confirmed the four-year period of ineligibility, which commenced on 25 September 2019, the date on which the provisional suspension began.”

Wait. Didnt that 100 and 200 meter runner from the US miss more and they still did not ban him, yet this guy from Grenada missed one, and they ban him for 4 years???? The US is shady want to throw everyone else under the bus, but hide what they are doing. Russia, the whole country got banned for a few people testing positive, yet that happens all the time in the US including the sexual assault allegations and all, yet the US gets no ban??? Shady. They really do place win at all cost at the top. Only care about winning in sports, yet they lack in every other category that matters. Smh. No wonder there are so many issues in the US.
Four years for missing one test seems excessive.
career over when youre not from the USA
Same thing am here saying to myself, I’ve seen it way too often
