Millrose Games Showdowns: Briana vs Allyson, Omar vs Grant, Keni vs Nia, Natoya vs Ajee

NEW YORK – The 113th NYRR Millrose Games will host many of the world’s best track & field men and women to perform on centre stage on February 8 at The Armory New Balance Track & Field Center in Washington Heights in New York City.

This year’s NYRR Millrose Games field is arguably the most talented overall since the meet moved to The Armory in 2012.

Briana Williams against Allyson Felix will headline the women’s side in the 60m.

Also, Natoya Goule takes on American top half-miler Ajee Wilson and Laura Muir in the 800m.

Kenni Harrison, who hit top form on the weekend with 7.81, face-off with fellow American Nia Ali, who ran 7.90 in Boston, in the women’s 60m hurdles.

Another superb duel is Omar McLeod against Grant Holloway in the 60m hurdles.

Wadeline Jonathas in the 400m, Konstanze Klosterhalfen with Nikki Hiltz and Elinir Purrier in the Wanamaker Mile, is another super showdown.

Men’s shot put has Ryan Crouser and Joe Kovacs from the memorable Doha battle.

Another marquee event is the 800m with Donavan Brazier, Michael Saruni and Bryce Hoppel.

Ronnie Baker returns in the 60m, Rai Benjamin and Obi Igbokwe are in the 300m and Kenyan Paul Tanui in the 10,000m.

  2. Felix could surprise, but Briana should have Felix’s number. Doesn’t mean Briana will win the actual race though. Otherwise, Grant wins this and Ajee beats Natoya
