Hyde, Lewis Search For Doha 2019 Qualifying Time At Berlin World Challenge

Newly crowned IAAF Diamond League champion Shanieka Ricketts is down to compete at Sunday’s (1 Sept) ISTAF Berlin World Challenge.

Kimberly Williams will join Ricketts in the women’s triple jump.

Omar McLeod, the World and Olympic Games champion, will face a strong men’s 110m hurdles field. Compatriots Ronald Levy and Orlando Bennett along with Barbadian Shane Brathwaite will also be in the event.

Pascal Martinot-Lagarde of France and The USA’s Freddie Crittenden will add to the competitiveness of the event.

Two other Jamaicans hurdles, Romel Lewis and Jaheel Hyde, are aiming for Doha 2019 qualifying time of 49.30s in the men’s 400m hurdles.

Tyquendo Tracey is listed for the men’s 100m while Danniel Thomas-Dodd faces a strong women’s shot put field.

Nia Ali of The USA will line-up in the women’s 100m hurdles.

The meet is scheduled to start at 11 am EST, or 10 am (Jamaica time).
