KINGSTON — The 2018 Jamaica National Junior and Senior Athletics Championships will get underway on Thursday and the following is the Day 1 schedule and live streaming options.
Two finals are set to be contested on Day 1, the men’s Triple Jump at 5:30 pm local time (CT) and the Javelin Throw 5:32 pm.

A subscription fee of $10.99 USD is the cost for the complete four days of action, while the cost for Days 1 and 3 is $3.99 USD, each day, and $5.99 USD for Days 2 and 4, each day.
The National Senior and Junior Championships will be held at the National Stadium in Kingston, from June 21-24.
The qualifying round for the men’s 100m will be the only action in the morning session at 10 a.m.
Those advancing will join the likes of Yohan Blake, Kemar Bailey-Cole, and Julian Forte in the quarterfinal, which is slated to take place at 7:20 pm.
The 400M hurdles for women will kick off the evening session coverage at 6:05 pm, while the men will take the track at 6:20 pm.
The quarterfinal round of the men’s 100m is slated to take place at 7:20 pm, with the junior boys going off at 7:00 pm.
The senior trials will select Jamaica’s teams for next month’s World Cup of Athletics in London, the NACAC Under-23 Championships in Toronto, Canada and the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in Colombia.
The Junior Championships will be used to pick the teams to the upcoming IAAF World Under 20 Championships in Tampere, Finland and the Youth Olympics Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
