Williams, Lewis win 400m hurdles at Penn Relays

Jamaican athletes opened Penn Relays 2018 final day with victories in both the High School Boys’ Championship and Olympic Development 400m Hurdles finals.

Rhodes Hall’s Rovane Williams and Rommel Lewis of Executives TC won their respective contest rather convincingly.

Williams ran a 51.22secs to take the 400m hurdles high school boys championship.

The Champs hero, was the only Jamaican in the top three, as Dashinelle Dyer of St. Elizabeth ended fifth in 53.26.

Lewis dominated his competition. The field’s sole Jamaican athlete bested his competition by more than a couple of seconds, in 51.20. Second place finisher was unattached Quinton Harley who ran 53.41.
