Shericka Jackson (JAM)
DOB:-15/09/94
EVENT:- 200M/400M
PB: – 22.57/49.83
Major accomplishments:- Olympic Games, 2016 bronze, 49.85 (49.83 in semis)
World Championships, 2015, bronze, 49.99

Despite scoring 400m bronze medals at the global elite level in 2015 and 2016, it was at the 200m where Shericka got world recognition in her early career; that with a bronze at the World Youths in 2011 and a 4th place at the Youth Olympics in 2010. In 2009, she was close to the top of the world in the 400m for her age level but could not compete at the World Youth Championships, as she was ruled too young.

An immense talent of whom much is expected, not the least of which is from her MVP TC coaching guru of world repute, Stephen Francis. She has devoted 2017 entirely to the short sprints, thus far, but is expected to run the 400m at the JN/Racers GP.

Profile is with the kind assistance of www.tilastopaja.net and www.wikepedia.org

The 2017 JN Racers Grand Prix will be held on June 10 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
