Skeen 6.66 at Razorback Invitational

Jamaica’s 2012 World Junior bronze medallist, Odeen Skeen, ran 6.66 at the Razorback Invitational held on Saturday (Jan 28) at Randall Tyson Track in Fayetteville, Arkansa.

Former Wolmer’s star, Skeen, representing Auburn, won heat 2 of the men’s 60m dash ahead of LSU’s Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake 6.78. Skeen’s time was the fastest in the prelims, but he didn’t run the final.

Raheem Chambers, another Auburn who, who represented St. Jago at Champs 2016, ran 6.71 to win heat 4, but finished fourth in the final with 6.68. Kendal Williams of Georgia won the final in 6.65.

Guyanese sprinter Brenessa Thompson (Texas A&M) ran 23.74 in the women’s 200m, won by Deanna Hill of USC, 22.94

Former Alpha athlete Sashel Brown ran 54.79 in the women’s 400m, won by Sharrika Barnett of Florida in 52.07.
