PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Final day of Trinidad and Tobago Championships had Keshorn Walcott winning the javelin with 84.84m84.84, his best result on home soil. Walcott’s mark to beat Shaquille Waithe 77.30m, is also a Championship Record.
World champion Jehue Gordon won the 400m hurdles in 50.06 ahead of Emmanuel Mayers 50.24.
In the 200m finals, top names did not compete.
Reyare Thomas won the women’s final in 22.97 (+2.2m/s wind) ahead of Kamaria Durant 23.15.
In the men’s final, Kyle Greaux 20.42 (+1.7) PB defeated Rondell Sorrillo 20.50 and Dan-Eil 20.53.
The women’s 400m hurdles final was very close between Josanne Lucas 56.757 over Sparkle McKnight 56.759.
