Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s MVP team was beaten at last Saturday’s Milo Western Relays in Montego Bay. They were beaten by University of Technology (UTech).

Fraser-Pryce’s team was hit with an early blow from Christiana Williams, who gave UTech a blazing start. Elaine Thompson and Shimarya Williams maintained the advantage to hand Chanice Bonner the edge over the waiting Fraser-Pryce.

Bonner took her UTech team across the line in 43.67 ahead of MVP 43.79. The MVP team also included Carrie Russell, Shericka Williams and Natasha Morrison.

In the men’s section, MVP with Nesta Carter, Kwisi McFarlane,  Kavean Smith and Riker Hylton were beaten by MVP 38.90 to 39.35.

The UTech quartet was Andrew Fisher, Julian Forte, Kimmarley Brown and Tyquendo Tracey.
