Jamaicans offered coaching scholarships in Germany

Jamaican coaches and athletes have been offered to take up scholarships in Germany.

In a release sent on Monday by Jamaica Administrative Athletics Association (JAAA), "the Scholarship Programme will be for coaches and athletes (under the age of 40) to pursue a Track and Field Coaching Diploma in Germany."

According to the release, "the course will run from June 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016 at the Training School for Foreign Coaches in Mainz, Germany and will include both theoretical and practical  elements as well as an intensive German language course."

The scholarship ONLY covers:
1.       Course fees
2.       Accommodation
3.       Health Insurance
4.       Winter Clothing
5.       Monthly Stipend of €400

Kindly note that airfare is not a part of the scholarship.

Please note that all applications MUST be submitted by November 14, 2014 with the following:

1.       A recommendation letter from the Jamaica Administrative Athletics Association (JAAA)
2.       Medical Certificate
3.       Four (4) passport photos
