GLASGOW – Olympic 400m champion Kirani James arrived in Glasgow two days late and without his baggage due to airline problems he encountered during his journey, report grenadasports.gd.
The Grenadian, who is still just 21, seemed unphased and is ready to try and win the 400m title in Glasgow to add to an every growing tally of top competitions he has won in his career.
James has won the CARIFTA Games, Pan American Junior, World Youth, World Junior, Commonwealth Youth, World and Olympic titles.
As well as the Commonwealth gold, he will aim for the championship record of 44.52, set by Iwan Thomas in 1998.
