Melanie Walker for Millrose Games

NEW YORK –  The 107th NYRR Millrose Games will take place at the Armory on February 15 and is set to feature more than twenty Olympic and World Championships medalists, among them Jamaican Melaine Walker. 

Walker, who won 400m hurdles titles at the 2008 and 2009 World Championships, will line-up in the women's 60mH. Walker hasn’t run 60mH since 2006.

Last years’s Millrose long jump champ Janay DeLoach Soukup will also face the starter in the event, along with favourite and last year’s winner Yvette Lewis.

Russian Winter runner up Kristi Castlin, Glasgow winner Nia Ali and World heptathlon silver medalist Brianne Theisen Eaton are also in the women's 60mH.

The women’s 60m features the 21 year old Trinidadian Michelle Lee Ahyee who is the World number 2 this year with 7.15. She will face Russian Winter runner up Gloria Asumnu, World 100m finalist Octavious Freeman (7.15 PB), World 200m 5th placer Jeneba Tarmoh (2nd here last year) and on form long jumper Tori Bowie. 

In the men’s 60m, Keston Bledman of Trinidad & Tobago ran his 6.62 PB in winning here in 2012. This year he will face Olympic 100m 5th placer Ryan Bailey, on form 20 year old Marvin Bracy (6.60 SB) and 2013 US Indoor Champ D'Angelo Cherry. 

The men’s 60mH will feature Jarret Eaton after his win in Karlsruhe, top decathletes Ashton Eaton and Trey Hardee, World 110mH finalist Andrew Riley and 2001 and 2006 World Indoor champ Terrence Trammell.
