MANDEVILLE, Jamaica – St. Jago's Kimone Shaw ran 24.9secs to win the girls' Class 3 200m dash at Saturday's Puma/JAAA Development Meet held at Kirkvine in Manchester.
Aaliyah Hopkins of Edwin Allen did 25.1 for second and Sydney Marshall 25.4 for third place.
Kingston College's trio of Yashawn Hamilton (23.5), Dontre Williams (22.0) and Karmayme Bartley (21.5) took top honours in the boys classes 3, 2, and 1 200m events. Williams also topped the 400m in 51.9
Shanice Reid of st. Jago topped the Class 2 girls event in 24.5 while Balaclava High's Dawnalee Loney stole the show in Class 1 with a fast 24.0secs. Loney (58.1) was second in the 400m behind Edwin Allen's Monique Spencer 56.7secs
G.C. Foster College's Crystal Morgan (25.2) and University of Technology's (UTech) Ta-Fari Green (22.1) took the female and male open events.
Marleena Eubanks of Edwin Allen ran 2:19.5 to take the girls' Class 1 800m while Delano Rochester of KC took the boys event in 2:03.7.
