Jamaicans Yohan Blake and Britany Anderson were winners at Monday’s (6 June) FBK Games at the Blankers-Koen Stadion in Hengelo.

Daegu 2011 world champion Blake, who ran into a negative wind of 0.3 meters per second, stopped the clock in 10.11 seconds.

Yohan Blake’s Jamaican teammate Tyquendo Tracey finished sixth in the event, crossing the line in 10.41 seconds.

American Kyree King finished second in 10.23 and Emile Erasmus, third in 10.25.

Britany Anderson continued her progress in the women’s 100 meters hurdles. She ran 12.51 to beat Americans Nia Ali, 12.69, Tonea Marshall, 12.70 and Tia Jones, 12.71.

Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas ran 12.88 for fifth.

Christopher Taylor takes 2nd spot

Jamaican Christopher Taylor ran 45.45 to take second in the men’s 400 meters behind American Vernon Norwood, 45.28.

Damion Thomas did not finish in the men’s 110 meters hurdles, which Eduardo Rodrigues of Brazil in 13.34 seconds.

Bahamian TyNia Gaither ran 11.23 to take second place in the women’s 100 meters. Daryll Neita of Great Britain won the event in 11.19 seconds.
