Jamaican quarter-miler Verone Chambers has her sight set on breaking the 50sec barrier.

“I think about it. That was the goal coming into this season, but I had some set-back,” she said in a one-on-one with Trackalerts.com in April.

She continued, “that’s the ultimate goal, I really want to run that 50-point”

The former Edwin Allen student/athlete said her 2018 aim was “run as fast as I can”

She is currently working with a new group, conditioned by former Jamaican 400m runner Sanjay Ayre.

Chambers had a few Diamond League in 2017.
