The National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago has sent congratulatory messages Khalifa St. Fort and Portious Warren on their medal winning performances at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton, Canada.

On Friday (July 31), St. Fort won Gold in the Women's 100m Dash, running out of lane four, St. Fort stopped the clock at 11.31 to finish ahead of Americans Alela Hobbs and Teahna Daniels.

This victory comes just two weeks after her second place finish at the World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia.

Portious Warren made her way onto the podium in second place when she shot the iron ball 15.57m. This distance was Warren's personal best throw and it came in the second round of competition.
