Elaine Thompson-Herah eyes modelling career

Olympic Games sprint double champion Elaine Thompson-Herah is eying a career in modelling.

The Jamaican sprinter, who won back-to-back Olympic Games sprint double titles, starting in Rio 2016 to Tokyo 2022, said modelling is just one of her dream opportunities.

The 30-year-old, who is married, posted a photo sitting in a chair while explaining herself in the caption.

“Modeling is not just beauty and smiles; it takes boldness and style,” she wrote.

Thompson-Herah’s ending lines were “Another dream I want to pursue – hashtag “model icon.”

At the Oregon22 World Athletics Championships, Thompson-Herah won bronze in the women’s 100-metre. She then went on to win the 100 and 200 metres at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Thompson-Herah is down to face Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Shericka Jackson at the Paris Diamond League later this month.
