MIRAMAR (USA): The Miramar Invitational (WACT Silver) this Saturday (8 April) will see Olympic gold medalist Steven Gardiner switch from the 200m to the 400m event. Gardiner’s move comes as a surprise to many, but it will be interesting to see how he performs in the race.
Meanwhile, Jamaica’s world 100m finalist, Oblique Seville, is set to open his international season at the same event. Seville has only competed in Jamaica so far this season and is eager to run faster than his personal best of 9.86 seconds.
Seville will headline heat 1 in Miramar with Ronnie Baker and Jerome Blake, while Aaron Brown and Ackeem Blake will feature in heat two. Heat three will see Kyree King and Emmanuel Matadi in action.
