The women’s 100m final will highlight day 2 of the 2021 Jamaica Olympic trials continue on Friday, 24 June. The trials will finish Sunday, 27 June, at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Elaine Thompson-Herah ran 10.96 in the first round and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce crossed the line in 10.97. Shericka Jackson, however, is the fastest with 10.91.

Briana Williams ran 11 seconds flat.

Yohan Blake leads the men’s event with 10.03.

The semi-finals and finals are set for Friday evening.
