ALBUQUERQUE: Trinidad and Tobago’s Jarrin Solomon was in excellent form on the weekend at the Cherry and Silver Invite.

Solomon won the men’s 600m in 1:16.97secs.

Meanwhile, 2013 World champion Brianna Rollins clocked the first sub 8 of the season over 60m hurdles – 7.99secs.

Rollins also won her prelims in the 60m flat 7.29 PB and in the 200m 23.64.

Olympic medalist Brigetta Barrett returned to the high jump with 1.84m.

Mexican record holder Jose Carlos Herrera won the 200m in 21.01. In the 60m heats Philippines record holder Eric Cray achieved 6.66.

In Bay City, Canadian decathlon star Damian Warner won the 200m in 21.18 at the Doug Hansen Open. For the Beijing silver medalist this was his first ever-indoor 200m competition.

In Boston, Matthew Oneal, in triple jump at Joe Donahue Games, won with 16.66m. His previous best was 16.18m last weekend.
