ILLINOIS, USA – Bahamian 100m hurdles record holder Pedrya Seymour improved her 60m hurdles indoor best at Illini Classic on Saturday (14 Jan) at the Illinois Armory.

Seymour clocked 8.13 in heats to beat her previous best of 8.15 set last year in Portland, USA.
However, in the final she ran 8.20 to beat fellow Illinois athletes Jayla Stewart, 8.52 and Kortni Smyers-Jones, 8.60.

Jamaican Kedisha Dallas, representing Northern Illinois, ran 7.67 for third in the women’s 600m, won by Anita Saffa of Eastern Illinois in 7.56. Dallas ran 7.68 in the heats.
