Kenyan world 800m record holder David Rudisha is still undecided if he is chasing a third Olympic title.
Rudisha, who won back-to-back 800m titles in London 2012 and Rio 2016, “because of this difficult time with Covid and I have been up and down with injuries.”
He told BBC sports Africa, “I have been off, I have not been training. I am hoping maybe next year I will make my decision whether I will come back and see the level of my physical fitness.”
The two-time world 800m champion said he would better assess his situation in early 2021.
“That’s when I will be able to assess my level and my standard, and that will gauge if I will come back or I will make another decision, but I love sports.”
