Stephenie-Ann McPherson won the 400m while Elaine Thompson finished second in the 60m at today’s (20 feb) Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix.
Jamaican McPherson topped the women’s 400m field in 52.05 ahead of Seren Bundy-Davies of Great Britain 52.10.
In the women’s 60m final, Thompson repeated her 7.14secs first heat performance to finish behind Netherland’s World 200m champion Dafne Schippers, who improved from 7.11 to 7.10 in the final.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Michelle-Lee Ahye, who ran 7.14 in the heats, returned slower with 7.16 for 4th.
