Nesta Carter will run the men’s 4x100m and Sherone Simpson the women’s sprint medley as Jamaica face-off with USA on Saturday’s final day of Penn Relays 2018.

Carter, who helped Jamaica to four global 4x100m titles (1 Olympic and 3 World Champs), will lead off Jamaica’s male 4x100m team, which also have Tyquendo Tracey, Oshane Bailey and Jevaughn Minzie.

Justin Gatlin will be on second leg for USA Red. The other members of this team are Lashon Collins, Tevin Hester and Justin Walker

Jeremy Bascom, Winston George, Emmanuel Archibald and Adam Harris will make-up Guyana’s team while Blake Smith, Bryce Robinson, Jeff Demps and Romantay McClain are the USA Blue members.

Jamaica with Nesta Carter (10.1), Michael Frater (8.9), Yohan Blake (9.0), Usain Bolt (8.8) is the word record holder at 36.84secs.

Jamaica also has the Penn Relays record of 37.10. That 2010 team included Mario Forsythe, Yohan Blake, Marvin Anderson and Usain Bolt.

Beijing 2008 Olympic 100m silver medal winner Simpson, who gave birth last year, will join Gayon Evans, Verone Chambers and Kaliese Spencer on the sprint medley team.

They will face Shequnia Ferguson, Tamara Myers, Tynia Gaither and Katrina Seymour of Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago’s Khalifa St. Fort, Reyare Thomas, Kai Selvon and Sparkle McKnight.

USA Blue and Red teams, along with Guyana are also in the field.

Everton Clarke, Martin Manley, Marzel Miller and Devaughn Smith are listed on Jamaica’s male medley team to face Canada, Guyana, Haiti and USA.

In the women’s 4x100m, Evans, Kerron Stewart, Schillone Calvert-Powell, and Jura Levy face two USA teams, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.

USA Blue will have Destiny Carter, Tawanna Meadows, Asha Ruth and Candace Hill while the Team Red includes Aaliyah Brown, Kimberlyn Duncan, Destinee Brown and Kyra Jefferson.

Trinidad and Tobago will use Kai Selvon, Reyare Thomas, Kamaria Durant and Khalifa St. Fort.

Guyana’s team Shenika King, Jasmine Abrams, Chante Moore and Jenea McCammon are also in the mix.

Peter Matthews, Demish Gaye, Jamari Rose and Jermaine Gayle will run the men’s 4x400m for Jamaica while the female team will include Christine Day, Anastasia Leroy, Rhonda Whyte and Tiffany James.
