BANSKA BYSTRICA, Slovakia – The first leg of new International High Jump Tour in Banska Bystrica (Feb 4) will have all three top Italians jumping and two Bahamians.
National record holder Gianmarco Tamberi, current World leader Marco Fassinotti and European indoor medalist Silvano Chesani.
Against them two World champions, from 2007 Donald Thomas of Bahamas and from 2011 US Jesse Williams.
Briton Robbie Grabarz is Olympic medalist 2012 and Trevor Barry of Bahamas is World medalist 2011.
Czech Jaroslav Baba, finalist last year at World Champs and European Indoors is also not missing.
This names are also favorites of the tour (5000 USD for the winner). Second leg in Trinec (Feb 7) will have as top additions European medalist 2014 Andriy Protsenko from Ukraine (240 PB) and Poland´s 2009 World medalist Sylwester Bednarek.
